Deleting Files off my Hard Drive

Ok, I may make a fool of myself here:-

I recently created a new User on my Mac, and deleted my old one. I had 15 films on my iTunes, on my old User, which I can re-download on my new User, but they no longer appear in iTunes. On my Hard Drive, it appears that the films are still registered as being there though, as I have taken up 55Gb of memory in Videos. Is there a way to completely delete these films or simply transfer them to my new User?
