Any time I try to open the App Store or any of the App Store Sub Categories I get this message:


The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store


I am in the US and super confused. I tried signing in and out of my iTunes account and rebooting the computer.

I am having the same issue. Running itunes 10.6.3. All other sub-stores (music, movies, TV shows, etc) load fine. But when I click the APP store, I get the same message "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."


Featured screen is empty as well.


I am not trying to download anything. I have logged out of the account and restarted the computer. I have also logged out of my iphone and ipad and re-logged back in... all without success.


Checked online with no helpful suggestions that have worked.

I was gertting this out of the blue while at a Starbucks using AT&T wifi on a MBP Retina 15. Reading through all the posts I came upon the one saying to sign in but I already was. So for grins and giggles I signed out which then got me the customary iTunes main screen with movies, music, etc. I signed back in which took longer than usual and all was ok (still).
