Q: When i start my itunes it starts to analyze my song list and it freezes up my computer. What should i do?

This started happening yesterday to my MacBook Pro after i was downloading music to my itunes from a normaly used mixtape website, hotnewhiphop. Now when i open my itunes my computer becomes very slow, freezes the itunes as it says its analysing my songs, and if l leave it like that for to long it might freeze my computer. Can anyone help me with this?
