My Mac App Store account page does not show any options for unhiding purchases.

I purchased Mountain Lion and want to re-download it to make a flash drive, but it does not appear in my purchase history. Clicking Option-Purchases doesn't change anything, and my Mac App Store account info page does not have anything regarding hidden purchases, although my iTunes account info page does. They are using the same Apple ID.

Mac App Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:

Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In

Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.

Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How to create an OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion install drive

I have exactly the same problem... I need to redownload a copy of Montain Lion so that can create a bootable disk to perform a format and fresh build on my MBP as I am seeing performance issues since the upgrade. I think this is due to some old file system apps that I had installed that no longer work on Mountain Lion.

Anyway, I'm stuck with a bad performing laptop, already paid for Mountain Lion, cant redownload it, certainly dont want to pay for it again! Really bad glitch on Apple's part.

Hope there is a way to get around this, gonna do more digging around.
