Activity Window missing

Safari 6 is unusable for me since they took out the Activity Window which i use constantly, and I can't scroll many windows such as Facebook. I had to download Firefox just so I could use the internet in Mountain Lion. I have never been so upset about an Apple "upgrade" before. Did anyone test this software before it was released?

Couldn't they have just left in the Activity Window? Was it really hurting anyone being in there?

Is there any way to use any version of 5.x Safari under Mountain Lion, or am I stuck using an alternate browser?
