Radio tuner for IPhone 4s

I member of Lifetime Fitness Sugarloaf in Duluth Georgia and when I work out I see about 7 tv screens at front with different channels and underneath can see

88.1 89.7 93.7 94.5 95.3 103.7 106.3 some AM FM.

I was asking for another member and he said I have a App in my phone " tune in radio " and let me manually change the stations and I can check those stations but my phone is Android. I don't know if the IPhone have something like that.

I try most of the tuner radio, tunein radio, etc and can't find the way.

Is any way somebody can give me any solutions other than change to Android !?!?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

The iPhone has no radio for picking up FM broadcasts, so you will not be able to pick up the audio from a TV station in your gym on your iPhone unless the station happens to simultaneously stream their audio on the Internet, something I've never seen any TV station do.

It's not built-in but there are devices that connect to the iPhone and allow you to get over the air signals. See Griffin iFM Radio Receiver for iPhone and iPodat Amazon for one such item. Runs about $25 US.

Griffen says that the iFM doesn't work with iOS 5, Frank, so it would appear that it won't work with the iPhone 4S. There may be another third-party FM receiver available, though I haven't spotted one that will definitely work with the 4S.

That's to bad, didn't see that in any of the sites I searched.

Seems like a nice simple idea which a lot of users would use. I even remember back in the iPhone 3 days there were rumors that Apple was going to put an AM?FM receiver into the iPhone.

Oh well to the OP, for $10 or so you should be able to get a cheap FM radio to take to the gym. Not as elegant a solution but it seems like a less drastic step then switching to an Android just for this.

The iFM works with with iOS 5.1.1 and iPhone 4s but this was not officially confirmed. I have tried it personally and enjoy it in general but when there are too many FM broadcastings in your area the sound quality is poor compared to other phones built in FM radios.
