Accidentally formatted the 200mb partition

I installed windows 7 in macbook pro running snow leopard using bootcamp (the latest version) and everything was just fine the i decided to shrink the windows partition to add another FAT32 partition to use it as a shared partition and acces it from mac os.

I shrinked the windows partition and made another 10gb partition, but the problem began when I wanted to format the partition, in that step I accidentally format the 200mb partition, i don't know what is the use of that partition for mac os, then after rebootin when i wasn't able to boot into mac os, because when i hold the "option" button for booting choice there is only the windows partition and the mac os partition is gone.

This is an image from another website, but I had also these partitions, actually mine was three partitions for mac,

1-mac os x partition

2-Recovery partition

3-200mb partition

but after formatting the 200mb partition whenever i want to boot into windows i face the"screen of death" and restarts.

so i reinstalled windows again and when I go to "Disk Management", Mac os and recovery partitions are there but unable to open them and it shows like the partitions are full and no free space, when try to open them it say "Do you want to forma this partition".

If there is anyway to recover or open the partition so i can backup my files and reinstall mac os then windows.

or maybe ther is a way to fix that and be able to boot to the current mac os partiton without format them .

You really can't recovcer the Windows install at this point. You can NOT change any partitions, Add, Subtract or change anything, and expect Windows to boot.

Hopefully you will still be able to boot back to OS X, Hold the Option key down when restarting the system and select the Macintosh HD. If you can boot back into OS X then you will need to use the Boot Camp Assistant program to Remove the Windows partition and start over from the start.

If you can't boot to OS X you might be able to boot to your original OS X system reinstall disk and reinstall OS X.

But if you can't do that either then you will need to use Disk Utility from booting the computer from the Snow Leopoard Reinstall disc and repartition the drive as One Partition and then reinstall OS X and all your programs.

Or IF you have a Time Machine backup you can restore the system using that After you use Disk Utility to repartition the drive as One Partition.

In the future once you create a Windows partition and install Windows using Boot Camp Do NOT try to change anything, in Windows or in OS X. It will just FUBAR the system again.

Good Luck & Best Wishes.
