Q: i cant find my Mac OS X Install disc . new hard drive installed and now cant start it up? what cn i do with out the deiscs, can i get new ones?
I have a macpro which came with snow leopard on it we never updated it to lion as many folk had errors with it, then the hard drive had to be replaced, by shop we bought it from, they gave 2 yr warranty. apple only gave 1, the year has passed.. Got the mac back and shop hadnt reset the operating system, the said to use the start up discs, point is I cant find them! Can i get a new disk or can it be done withot a disc?? Please hlp useless paperweight on desk now..thanks..

You can get them here in UK; 0844 209 0611, ask for Customer Services.
Have the serial no. of the Mac to hand if possible (and a payment card).
Incidentally, if you bought the Mac new, your discs may still be in the box, in a small white box marked "everything Apple" containg the manual and warranty info and the two grey discs.
