I successfully migrated my downloaded iWeb created web site and uploaded it to a new host after the demise of MobileMe. It comes up in both Firefox and Safari and site navigation is fine. However, when trying to upload small changes to the site, I get this  message.  ""The folder with www.kwiwcollege,com already exists. Do you want to replace it ? Replacing it will completely replce the contens of the folder on the server."

Naturally I do ot wnt to repod teh whole site everytime I make chnages, epsecially to the associated blog. Any suggestions/help much appreciated.

This is because, having iWeb '08, you are using the 'publish to local folder' method. When you update your site some of the files are changed, and it's not all that simple to identify which ones. You would have to open every single folder in list view and sort by date modified to bring the modified files to the top of the list, and upload those into the appropriate folder. This is going to be a time-consuming fiddle, though it might be quicker than uploading the whole of a complex site, but if you miss any files you'll get some odd results.

The later version of iWeb isn't sold by Apple any more, but it might be worth your while to see whether you can find the iLife '09 or iLife '11 boxed sets - both contain the same version of iWeb, and with this version you can publish directly from iWeb to your server, and only the changed files will be uploaded.
