iCal not connecting to Google Calendar - HTTP 404 error

Does anyone know if this has been resolved. I'm just getting the issue now. I need a fix but I can't move everything to iCloud. I have an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook... any solutions yet? Please help! I LIVE out of my calendar!!!

As per Chipmason, I unsynced and then resynced my calendars yesterday and also reentered/added passwords under "System Preferences">"Mail, Contacts and Calendars">"Details" and have not had the notice for 24 hours now ... keeping my fingers crossed. Tim

I've solved by deleting the calendars cache as per this post: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-the-iCal-Cache. Hope this may help.

For me nor cache cleaning or account deletion and adding it again did not solve the problem for longer than few days.

And this is strange, because this problem exists on my Mac Pro and does not exist on my Macbook Pro, both are running 10.8.2 and almost identical set of apps.

Same for me Munas, so the issue is on Google's side. The solution (for me) is this:

Go tohttps://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect

Make sure ALL calendars are selected. Even if you don't want them in iCal. There seems to be a conflict between Google and iCal, in the way iCal does 'delegates'. Google changed this behavior recently, which is why we are getting 404 errors.

I did exactly what chipmason suggested. I followed the link, selected all calendars and removed delegates in iCal. It worked over the weekend.

Now 404 errors pop up again every few minutes ...

i turned off the delegates in the calender preferences. this is for mountain lion. looks like that fixed it.

this is for calender and not ical.

I tried to:

- remove and re-add accounts

- unselect delegates

- check all the calendars on https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect even I do not need some

- remove subscribed calendars

- remove keychan Calendar entries

- clear calendar chashe

as single actions as well as combinations of these - no help. Sooner or later the 404 comes back. It even comes for the Google calendars that have no delegates at all.

This worked well for me! I haven't had issues since this!

This worked for me.

In my case the problem was that I was using both delegations and sync select. This worked fine for me for until very recently—maybe as recently January 8th.

I removed all delegate acounts and started working exclusively through

https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect

So far so good.

Clearing the caches worked for me too.

I had been running fine until a couple of days ago and then only my enterprise google account was giving me troubles. My preson google account has been working fine (knock on wood).

I'm having the same issue. This is ridiculous!
