I have a Mac Mini OSX version 10.7.4
I arrange my desktop icons the way I want them and when I log off and log back on, my icons are moved to the right. How can I keep them arraanged how I want them??? 😠 Do I need an app or something? 😕

My icons move around as well. Its been that way for years now and with different Macs along the way. It happens with my employees computer as well. It doesn't happen all the time, but like Kelle11, I like to arrange certain folders or files in certain groups on my desktop and they don't always stay put.

Click on the Desktop, then choose the View Menu>Show View Options, uncheck Keep Arranged by... any change?
That does not help.
Your desktop icons should not move if in the Finder under the View menu in "Sort by" you select None or "Snap to Grid". If they do let us know.
Just asking, did you highlight one icon on the Desktop, then do a Select All, CMD+a, then use the View options?
Desktop icons keep moving!
