IPhone 4 turned off and won't turn on. Tried everything.

I read a text message, locked it and put it in my bag. A few minutes later, took it out and it was blank.I tried plugging it into the computer, holding Lock/Home key, nothing. Tried without the computer. Probably will take it to the apple store since nothing seems to be working. My phone has had a cracked screen for about 2 months, I have my own tools to fix it and was plan on doing it soon. But if my phone's broke for no fault of my own, will apple replace it?

Try sitting the phone on the charger for about 20 minutes, and the try turning it on normally. This happened to me with an otherwise fully functional iphone 4 about two months ago. The phone sat on the charger all night, but when I went to use it in the morning it was dead and wouldn't come on even with the hard reset. I wasn't near an apple store at the time so I just left it on the charger and came back to it a little later and it turned on normally.

Worth a shot. Good luck.
