Best set-up in FCP for graphics and text only show (Prores or other)?

Hello all.

Forgive me if asked before but I can't find a definitive answer.

I am working on a project that is using text and still images only. I am working in FCP to make the show (using Motion, Photoshop, After-Effects, Illustrator etc. to prepare text and images).

There will be a music soundtrack.

The final output will be to Blu-ray DVD (as that is what the client has requested for the trade show they will using it at).

What would be the best set-up/video settings in FCP to use for this.

I typically work in ProRes but as there will not be any actually video (just animated graphics and text) is there a better alternative?

The Blu-ray DVD will be mastered professionally.

Many thanks

ProRes is still the way to go. You are adding pictures and text...and that will become video when you render it. So go with ProRes.
