internet explorer security certificate error pop-up prevents me from downloading itunes install file

I just purchased a HP Pavilion G series windows 7 laptop. I'm trying to install itunes 10.6 but when I click on the blue "download" button it pops up a message that reads. "Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying ontent with security certificate errors" What's up with this? Is this Windows trying to prevent Apple products?
