I have an IMac 24 in with I7 processor and MAC Lion 10.6 I have a Dimage Scan Dual 4 scanner, worked very well for a while, then one day I got a message that said Power PC no longer support the driver. Is there any fix. Help!!!!!

Lion was the first version of OS X that does not support legacy PPC (Power PC) based applicaitons. You may still be able to scan however not using the old application you used before upgrading to Lion. You can try Image Capture (it's already installed on your computer) to scan and it should be OK. You also may want to check Printer and scanner software for Snow Leopard, Lion & Mountain Lion and see if your scanner is still supported.
PowerPC app's are no longer supported in Lion 10.7 or Mountain Lion 10.8, but it looks like VueScan supports your scanner thru 10.8
