Dear All,I have Aperture, latest version (I cannot check the version as Aperture will not open). When clicking on the Aperture icon, Aperture starts to open the library and then, after maybe 2 seconds, quits suddenly and shows the following message:The last time you opened Aperture, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. I cannot remember if I have a serial number.I have tried opening Aperture while holding Option &amp; Command. I have tried two of the three possibilities given, being Repair Permissions and Repair database. Does not help.Tried shutting my Mac down and restart, does not help either.I have a mid 2011 Mac with OS X 10.8.1. installedMy Library seems to be intact. I can at least find all the pictures in Finder, as far as I am awareWhat should I do now?Thans a lot for any help.BTW: I am fairly new to Mac, so please be specific when answering or else I might screw up even more.

Hi Roger! I&#x27;m having the same problem and can not fix it. I&#x27;m really losing my nerve, I have a work deadline and is impossible to do anything in Aperture 2 seconds after it has been opened... Have you found a solution? I&#x27;m desperate! Thank you!

You may think that you have the same problem as the OP but there are many reasons to get the type of crash the OP posted. Without more information there is no way to try to  help you.You should start a new thread describing your exact error, your system setup both hardware and software, anything you have tried to correct the problem and what happened and any other helpful information.Also cut and paste (no screenshots) the first 50 or so lines of the crash report.regards

Hi! First, Aperture began to fail while editing, I repaired the library a lot of times, also repair permissions and move the library to a external HD for working with a new library. Nothing worked. I also did a test on my computer and the memory seems fine.
