can i use imac as display
Just bought macbook pro retina and want to use my 27" imac ( late 2009) as monitor!
is that possible ?

Yes. Just use a MiniDisplay port cable to connect the two. It plugs into the Thunderbolt port on the MBpro.
Yeah well, I tried to connect MCBookpro and imac with a displayport->HDMI Kabel.... and it won´t work..... so i guess I´ve to buy an hdmi->display adapter
