How do I print my comments in preview with Mountain Lion?

I used to obtain printouts with lines connecting my annotated text to the note icon on the document - I can't figure out how to do this after upgrading to Mountain Lion. The only thing I have been able to do is open a "highlights and notes" sidebar, but the notes are not included when I print the document. Any help would be much appreciated.
