How do I migrate correctly from Logic 9.02 on Macbook Pro running OSX 10.6.8. to a new Macbook Pro 2012 running Lion?

How do I migrate correctly from Logic 9.02 on Macbook Pro running OSX 10.6.8. to a new Macbook Pro 2012 running Lion? (I purchased and installed Logic Studi 8 first - 9 DVDs Version1.0 - and then later Logic 9 Update - 9 DVDs Version 2.0 - an on top all the extra updates coming via "Software Update"). Will installing everything from the DVDs work on the new Macbook Pro's?
