Changing fonts on MacBook Air?

I'm wondering if there is a way to change fonts on your MacBook Air like you can on iPhones and Androids... Thanks(:

As is true on the iPhone, there is not a universal font changing mechanism -- instead, you change fonts within a specific application.

The one exception to this is font smoothing, which can be changed universally on your MacBook Air. You do this from System Preferences > General (which you get to via the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen).
