Final Cut X crashes with __glgProcessPixelsWithProcessor_block_invoke_0 + 100 when I switch A/V Output on and Preferences->Playback A/V Ouput is set to AJA Kona 3 1920x1080 @29.97. Source material is 1080i29.97.

I have tried uninstalling Final Cut X using the FCSRemover program, then reinstalling aja, reinstalling Final Cut X and still see this very annoying issue.

Workarounds?

Thanks,

Clyde

Andy, I am using the latest v10.3.2 (non-desktop version) of the aja Kona 3 drivers. I tried v10.3.1 with the same result.

I have found a workaround which does not make sense to me but seems to work. If I set the aja control panel to output 720p @50 instead of 1080i @ 29.97 the crash no longer happens. This is unacceptable for the long run but ok for rough monitoring. Note that the source material is all 1920 x 1080i @ 29.97.

Thanks,

Clyde
