Odd change in OD on lion to ML server upgrade

Noticed odd change in name of OD after in place upgrade. DNS CHECKS out, services seem ok, but name of OD is slightly different.

Before upgrade host name was sv1.domain.com and machine was sv1. OD WAS SV1.domain.com

After upgrade OD is "sv1.sv1.domain.com". Should I be concerned. Will this affect open directory or Kerberos authentication?

How do I correct? Thanks,

Mac mini (Late 2009), OS X Server, 10.8.1

If you are having trouble you could always 'uninstall' OD by destroying it. In the Open Directory of the server app select every replica an press the minus sign to demote the computers to standalone. Lastly select the OD Master computer, then press the minus sign you can start rebuilding your Open Directory infrastructure from scratch, not that much work 🙂
