Sep 8, 2012 7:00 PM in response to dabroadby Carolyn Samit,Try here > Mac App Store: "An unknown error occurred (100)" when purchasing
If that didn't help, disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
Then try the App Store.

Sep 8, 2012 7:49 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby dabroad,Amazing. Firewall was off and I made no changes, but after going through the process I am now able to make purchases. Coincidence? I dunno, but thanks for the help.

Sep 8, 2012 11:05 PM in response to dabroadby HACKINT0SH,The iTunes store is unable to process purchases at this time. Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. . . .
You can't really solve this on your own unless you have some sort of magical powers... or a billion bucks.
So I'm willing to bet it was your first intuition about coincidence.

Sep 9, 2012 6:05 AM in response to HACKINT0SHby dabroad,No one has surprised me with a billion-dollar check and I'm notably lacking in magical powers, so I guess coincidence wins. I began to think it was a "stuck" error message, though, because it went on for something like eight hours--that's a lot of lost sales! But I guess Apple does have about a billion bucks and can afford it.

Nov 1, 2012 7:57 PM in response to dabroadby ajsim,Since the guy came on board everything is bad! Including stocks. It is frustrating not being able to spend some money. I think they have so much money and we should buy elsewhere. It is stupid!!!
