Trying to get an iPod sync'd to windows 7.

Hey all,

In the last few weeks my laptop running windows 7 has been failing to detect my iPod. When I plug in the cable the iPod charges and windows see it, but iTunes fails to see it. I have tried all the steps on here to fix it, including: uninstall and reinstall iTunes, different cables, stopping and restarting AMD, and running the iPod in recovery mode. The one thing I have noticed was an error report being generated everytime I plug in my iPod. I have pasted it below. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I have tried it on another computer and it was able to be recognized. On the original computer I have tried uninstalling every single trace of iTunes yet a reinstall still yields the same problems. Another thing I have noticed is that the applemobiledeviceservice.exe process is continously running at 50% of my cpu. iTunes diagnostics only says that no iPod is connected.
