renable a locked itunes account

I downloaded an apps for my kids and even though I had the security settings on to prevent purchases the app ended up charging my account. I contacted the app and ultimately had to challenge the charge through my credit card. I got the charge reversed but Apple has locked my iTunes account and multiple attempts to get it unlocked have been unsuccessful.


Has anyone else had this problem and been able to get it resolved? Seems a bit extreme for Apple to take this stance. I tried to resolve the problem through support but could never get anyone on the line or get an email answered. A better solutions may be to require a different credit card instead of blocking the account which affects my ability to buy stuff!!!!!!


Any help would be appreciate.
