I have a KORG pa500 ort and have garageband. when I connect the mac, the keyboard changes all the sounds I selected. how do I fix that? How to make garageband recognize the keyboard voices?

Thank you for replying. your link basically clarifies that I cant use garageband for full midi recording and play back.

Could you please advice how can I stop the garageband from changing the voices on the PA500?
meaning, I may have selected few sounds in the sequencer in keyboard. as soon as I select the device from garagemand, the voices on the keyboard changes!!!
how do I stop that ? any idea?

that's not what it says, GB is fully capable of recording MIDI
