Open the presentation in Keynote, then go to Share > Export and choose PowerPoint.
Open the presentation in Keynote, then go to Share > Export and choose PowerPoint.
When I do this it shows as a file missing content when I try to play as a ppt file.
this will save my university life 🙂 thankyou 🙂
You're quite welcome.
I have a problem I need solving. I have just upgraded to Mavericks on my MacBook Pro and Keynote has completely changed everything, it took me so long to learn the old one and now I have to take an eternity to get my head round the new one, so much so, I have now installed Microsoft Office 2013 on my PC to make it easier and faster to create my presentations.
I need to use my old keynote files whilst building my ppt ones, but I can not figure out how to save keynote as a ppt, there is no option included in the save as tab...
Can somebody help as I am starting to fall behind on my work.
Thanks in advance
For the new Mavericks version, go to File > Export to..> then select the type; Powerpoint will be in there. Then it is just a wizard that you follow, like three steps.
When the presentation I saved on keynote as a PP is opened, it only shows a few slides and will not run as the PP presentation. It says saved as a pp presentation. What am I doing wrong?
we need some basic details before guidance can be offered:
what version of PowerPoint created the files?
what operating system is on the computer that created the PowerPoint?
what version of Keynote are you using?
what operating are you using with Keynote on the Mac?
thanks, your suggestion worked:-)
