Sep 9, 2012 8:42 PM in response to achuryby gail from maine,Hi achury,
The easiest way to get a previous user's data cleared off of your phone is to go to Settings>General>Reset and click on Reset all Settings. Here is a link that will explain what that will do:

Hope this helps!

Sep 10, 2012 8:05 AM in response to achuryby paulcb,Settings > Store > AppleID > sign out and sign back in with your Apple ID. Note that none of the apps purchased under the other ID will work. Apps are forever tied to the ID they are purchased under.

Erase All Content and Settings will.. it will wipe the iPhone and make it ready to be activated.

Nov 8, 2013 5:19 AM in response to gail from maineby philiphausner,I also have somebodies elses ID on my Iphone. I did what you said and when I went to the store I saw my ID but not this other ID. Do you have any suggestions where I can find this person's ID on my phone and delete it because at the moment I am unable to download any apps, all the time this person's ID keeps coming up.
