I have to hold down the option and D key to start the AHT - if you've a newish MBP you might want to try that - just make certain that you have a good Internet connection.

I did as you told but unfortunately it's not supported.
So you don't get the globe with the Internet Recovery message? Holding down the D key should work for you then - and I'm not sure why it's not.

Oh, I got the globe, but it said my MacBook is not supported.
Did you insert the gray disc with the AHT on it, and disconnect all peripherals?
No, I don't have any disc. I do have Mountain Lion OS Installer on USB Flash which I made from the dmg. Should I use that one?
If your Mac didn't come with discs, then you can only run the AHT by netbooting (option-D.) If it did come with discs, you need to order replacements from Apple customer service.
