According to Apple the Mid-2007 MacBook will work with only 2GB of RAM, but other sources have found that 3GB works fine. There are a number of good sources for purchasing RAM. I like Other World Computing.
Than you... The Kid at Apple today recommended that I buy more but that was all he could tell me... I will check out that sight! Thanks
If you go to http://www.everymac.com and look up the MacBook Mid-2007, it says that machine will actually support up to 4 GB though Apple does not support that. In addition to OWC, another good source is Crucial.
Another good sources is crucial.com.
When I need memory I go to both of those sites and buy from the cheaper one. They are both very good source for memory.
One thing I like about Crucial is that they have software that can be downloaded to your Mac and scan it then report back to them. That way they can tell you exactly what will work on your Mac and how much it can run.
