iPhone turns itself off, restore doesn't work

My iphone 4S is turning itself off, hoding down the sleep/wake button & home button doesn't work. When I connect the phone to my laptop the phones starts up but shuts itself off when disconneted. I tried a restore and this worked for a day. Anny suggestions?

These are the features of a faulty battery. iPhone 4S has full Warranty, make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

Hold Sleep and Home to restart
Only hold Home with the iPhone plugged in
A restore request pulls up
Hold Sleep and Home to restart
Don't hold anything
Let it start as normal

If that fails repeat 1-3, Restore that point.
