music disappeared

Some of my music has disappeared, Is it possible that Apple is removing what it thinks is unlicensed music? I see others have asked that question and they've gone unanswered.

Right now all I would like is a "yes or no" answer not a link to an answer or a 2 page explanation. I will post other questions if necessary after I receive an answer.
