Where can I find out what the icons are on an email? The particular icon is a box with an arrow pointing down. I have no idea what this icon is?

The Mail section of the user guide will give you details about those icons:
Unfortunately it never mentions what the icon is? It's on page 43 from the user guide. It's the 2nd icon st the top right shape like a box with an arrow. Do you know what it is?

In most of the other mail accounts on the iPad - the icon that looks like a file folder with an arrow pointing down is the Move button.
It isn't the file folder, it's a box. You must be inside of a current email with the new iPad to see this icon at the top.
You are in Gmail and it is the Archive box.
