How to sell a Macbook Pro for parts

I would like to sell my 17" Macbook Pro online somewhere (ebay, maybe?) for parts. It received some water (wine) damage and will not boot up at all, but the logic board is fine. I want to keep my hard drive. How does this process work exactly? Do I disassemble the computer in order to sell? How do I market it on Ebay or whatever to make it sell for the highest price, while still being completely honest? It is completely new to me, but I am a photojournalism major and desperately need a functioning mac. I am hoping that selling this one will bring a bit of money in to contribute to buying a replacement.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Logic board doesn't sound fine to me...

Do what you want with it.

First, see this: http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/howtosell/sellingbasics.html then don't lie in your item listing.
