Smart disk Fire Lite quit working

Hello, does it show up at all in Disk Utility?

Is it Firewire or USB?

Does it feel like it's spinning at all?

Does it have it's own AC adapter?

I have a Smartdisk Firelite 120GB Firewire that I have been using for my macbook for several years. Now, It spins, is found in disk utility and uses the macbooks power but it does not show up on my desktop or finder.

I have used a different wire as I know 6 pin uses different pins for power and data transfer.

I have 65 gigs of information I NEED on this drive. Any reccomendations on getting it?
