I want to install Pinta on OSX 10.8.1 , but It says I need to install the Mono Framework : LINK http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html
It was last updated in December 2011 , so I doubt it Is updated for OSX 10.8 .
I just want to know if It might work , because I don't like Gimp's user interface.
If it won't work, give me alternatives to GIMP or Paint.Net.

Suitable alternatives depend on your usage profile for the application. Are you looking for a photo editor, or a painting program?
I only suppose as well, you are looking for a no cost/free application, but you don't specify, only that you don't like Gimp's interface.
I am looking for a something that can do somewhat of both.
I would prefer something that is free , but if it is $15 or under I will take a look.
I used to use Paint.Net when I worked with windows, but there is no port of it for Mac.
The biggest "bang for the buck" application, that will do both, I have found is Pixelmator. It is available on the Mac App Store for $14.99. It used to be many times this price.
