Hello, how can I recover the data which were on the external HHD and that have been canceled after having run the time machine for the first backup? I had all my pictures on it .... :-( Thanks for your help !!!

Are you saying you let Time Machine erase you drive and run on the same partition that you had your pictures stored?

If you continue to use your machine it will be impossible to recover anything. You might look into data recovery software or take it to data recovery service. Could prove to be very expensive.
