"Clicking/Popping" Noise from Left Speaker

Hey guys,

I recently got a Macbook Pro with Retina display and am loving it. However, I have started to notice a kind of clicking/popping noise coming from my left speaker whenever I do certain actions on my computer.

For example, if I am turning on the speaker from mute the poppin noise would ensue. If I am going through pictures through Quick Look from finder and decide to send it to the trash bin, the popping noise would come out, too.

I've had this laptop since the end of June and these past few days have been the first time I've noticed this.

Anyone have any idea as to what it is? I've looked through past threads and don't think I've found anything similar.
