Recently de-authorized all of my devices from itunes as I was over my limit. Re-authorized only one computer, downloaded 3 movies via itunes. When I sync my ipad 2 to my computer and try to transfer, I get the message that the movie cant be copied because it cant be played on my ipad. I know you dont have to authorize an ipad and I have used this ipad to transfer and watch movies previously so not sure why the issue now.
