Futurescale - great video proof and I verified that your solution of doing multiple refreshes actually works! I cross checked by sending and deleting a message on my iPad mini and the checking mail on my iPhone. Each time I did this, the deleted email still came through. However after deleting and refreshing several times on the iPad, the mail no longer comes through on my iPhone. Great detective work and good solution though annoying to have to do it.
Mariaoro I have the same problem. I noticed if I go to the search feature on my iPhone any email I delete is still there.
Go to Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Comcast Account>Advanced>Delete from Server> and choose when you want the mail deleted from the server.
What you are seeing in the search feature is normal and expected behavior on the iPad - even if you have deleted the email.
ProTip: Don't even waste your time with Apple tech support since they will blame your email provider.
In my video, I show undeniable proof that the delete requests are not sent to the server immediately.
How? I sniffed the TCP packets leaving my iPhone and looked for the delete commands. They simply do not leave the phone until you've hit refresh several times.
Apple, fix your wonky email app and stop blaming email providers. It is not a server problem!
