Lost Iphone, is there some way if it is not being tracked by the find my iphone app, to erase the data??
Even if I can't find the phone atleast my data needs to be wiped. If I provide the serial number to Apple can they ensure no data is forwarded to that instrument??

log in to icloud.com. Click on find my iphone. Iphone not showing up, but do you see an option to do a remote wipe, or remote lock? if not, no.

NO
If your phone can't be tracked by FMiP there is no remote access at all. Apple does not track lost/stolen phones.
