How can one setup a time capsule without connecting it to the internet or setting up a wireless connection?

I would like to connect to my time capsule via ethernet. Either directly or via a switch. However when the setup prompts me it keeps asking me to plug this device into my router - which Im not going to do because I have a dedicated firewall.

Is there some way to set this thing up to use ethernet (not wireless)?

Download and use exclusively the real utility.. a tool instead of the toy in Lion and ML.

Set the TC to bridge.. forget the automated setup.. in 5.6 click on manual setup.. go to internet tab.. choose connection sharing..off bridged mode.

On the airport/wireless page you can turn off wireless.
