iTunes EQ: Burning Cd's Using iTunes

Are CD's burned and "EQd" with the current EQ setting when the iTunes Equalizer is checked in the on position during burning. Does anybody know this for sure?

The equalizer settings have effect on playback only.

The only settings that has effect on burning (Audio CDs only) is the 'Use Sound Check' in Preferences>Advanced>Burning.
