I'll order a rMBP but can I do my order w/ in store pickup? Im not an US citizen, do I need to be an US citizen? Is foreign IDs or passport are ok with instore pickup, do they accept them?

Great. Does the credit card billing address match that address? If it doesn't, you can't do what you want. Again, to order from the US online store REQUIRES a verified billing/shipping address in the US...that means the credit card you use MUST have a verified billing address in the US.
I live in Turkey, im in there. My friend is at US. I'll order from here with my credit card and I'll give his information for pickup. In the page they want government issued ID or the credit card that is used to pay at the online store.
The question is, will the apple store accept turkish ID or passport as a ID?

If you order from the US online store, you must have a verified billing/shipping address in the US, regardless of where you want to pick the item up.
The Apple stores do not restrict sales to US citizens, anyone can walk in and purchase a product. Your identification/passport should be sufficient, along with a valid credit card or payment method for purchase/pickup of an item.
Hi wj, I've never been asked for that kind of information when doing an in-store pickup...but I guess they already have that information since I am a citizen and have a history of purchase.
I knew that was required for app store purchases but had not heard it applied to hardware purchases.
Ok, then why are you asking here? I have no desire to debate this stuff. Go ahead, order whatever you like & you shouldn't have any problems picking whatever it is up.

I got an adress in US.
I ordered an iPad last year, with a credit card from Turkey. I gave my adress in Turkey as billing, and gave my adress in the US as shipping and there was no problem.
Can i pickup in Apple Store w/ foreign ID or passport?
