What's going on with Mail this morning?

Is anyone else having problems accessing Mail? I can't access it on iCloud.com or my iPhone. (Not at home to check my laptop.) My internet connection is not the issue; that's working fine on my work computer and on my phone. I'm not getting any password error messages. On my iPhone I'm not getting any error messages, but nothing happens and email won't come in. On iCloud, I get the following error message: "Cannot load Mail. Help Apple improve iCloud by reporting this problem." No problems accessing my Calendar or Contacts, just Mail. Any suggestions on things I can do to fix it, or is this an Apple issue with servers or something?

Apple IS the "server." Their service has been down for over 24 hours, they've provided no explanation/concrete news of any sort, and this is THEIR message board, which they presumably monitor. It's a perfectly reasonable place to voice frustration and plead for a little responsiveness from the company. And honestly, I feel badly for you if you have so little to do that you choose to camp on a message thread about something that is not affecting you, passing judgement on the rationality of the messages therein. Go troll somewhere else--we have no mail, all over the world, and WE ARE ******.

I cannot believe it has been over 24 hours and Mail is still not working. Why the denial by apple and why this major issue receives so little coverage and support. They claim only 1.1% of users (me included of course) are experiencing this blackout, but boy, the damage and havoc this silent blackout has created.
