how to sync all calendars on ipad Macbook pro and iphone, with snow leopard

I have snow leopard, I am trying to sync all of my calendars, ipad Macbook pro and iphone, does anyone know what to do? I have icloud but I have an older iphone 3S and my macbook pro keeps displaying an error 60 on ical.
