Get the serial number off the back of the iPad and then go onto Google and put in the serial number and press search then look at your answers.
How much did you pay for your ipad that you bought from the store last week? And if you paid for a new ipad wouldn't you return to the store with your receipt and question the worker in case he had given you an ipad2?
Ipad2's are primarily only sold new in stores these days with 16gb. They're $399.00 New ipads start at $499.00. Are you aware of how many gb you paid for?
If you got a new ipad and paid the lesser amount, I'm sure you'll return to the store and pay the worker the difference.
At least it's new, though. Many people ask for and get support because they bought a used ipad and the previous owner left all his info on it, and they have to restore it.
I'm always curious as to who would sell an ipad with all their personal info, itunes, and paid for apps on it, particularly if they replaced it and transferred all their data at least for security purposes, if not the cost of apps and music, etc.
And you need an apple address - why? Once you turn on your new ipad you can set it up and it's pretty automatic. The address will be there.
