Scrubbing Help. Skips song automatically every time i try to scrub

For a specific mixtape i downloaded off the internet, every time i try to fast forward in a song from that mixtape, it automatically skips the current song and goes to the next one. i have had no problems with other songs ive gotten from the web but for some reason these are messed up in that aspect. Anybody have any idea of to fix this so i can scrub (fast forward by dragging the blue dot) forward in these songs? Thanks

YES!!!!!! it really annoying and i can't find any results anywhere. it might be because of Datpiff but im not sure. keep me posted if you find out anything and ill do the same.

If it only happens with a specific song or album it's possible that data has been corupted. Try taking the affected file off of the iPhone, if possible download a new file and sync to the iPhone.

SOOO annoying. I think Datpiff has something to do with it and I cant find another source. like all other links i find are people re uploadding the file from Datpiff. ill let you know though

Okay, this was annoying to me too, so I figured that I'd figure it out! Here's what you do:

Goto iTunes
Double click on the album
Select all of the songs
Right click on them
Click "Create AAC Version"
Right click on the sort bar (it has Name, Time, Album, etc.) and click "Kind" (this will aid you in cleaning up and deleting the MPEG files)
Delete the old mixtape off of your device
Put on the new AAC version on
Enjoy scrubbing the album 😉

Thank you! This helped out and fixed the problem I was having with one particular song on my iphone 5.
