I am in need of help, Please, there has to be someone who knows how to do this!
OK On iphone 4s, I used winzip to extract a .jar file but I am unable to open and use the actual file.
This was expensive purchase and this is a time issue.

Winzip does not function on an iPhone or any iOS device and .jar files do not execute in iOS devices. Have no idea what you did.

You can't, .jar is a Java archive, iOS doesn't have a java virtual machine.

Refund for what? The app worked...the archive you're trying to use won't, how's that the fault of the app developer?
They said it would work on iphone
Who is "they"? The makers of the java app? If so, talk to them and find out what you're supposed to do to make it work or get a refund.
