    Hi, Matt. Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

     

    You say that you have an iBook, but you also say that you are using Mac OS X 10.6.8. This is an impossible combination because no iBook can run Mac OS X 10.6.

     

    So, which is it? Can you tell us which exact model of Mac you have, please?
